In 2008 we were presented with a glorious Mason and Hamlin by anonymous donors who are generous and enthusiastic supporters of community action. Their sonorous instrument birthed the PBN series and has sustained our performers and listeners for 14 years. We will be eternally grateful for their generosity, and also to 'Mr. Mason' for making such beautiful music for all of us in the North Country.
The late Russell Ames’ beloved
7-foot Steinway B Grand Piano
In November 2021, Piano by Nature purchased the late Russell Ames’ beloved 7-foot Steinway B Grand Piano, forever linking our musical endeavors to a wonderful man who defined the very word “community” through his great artistic gifts and his all-embracing generosity. Our organization is proud to be able to give back to our community through the restoration and continued utilization of this very special instrument, celebrating the legacy of this gem of a musician for generations to come.
